Willis Employee Benefits Limited, a subsidiary of Willis Group Holdings plc (NYSE: WSH), the global risk advisory, re/insurance broking, and human capital and benefits firm, announced today its commitment to take a unique new approach to the challenge of attracting and retaining high performing talent, whilst containing the ever-rising tide of employee absence and presenteeism and their associated costs.
Willis believes its new partnership with Benefex – a leading provider of online employee reward and benefit schemes – represents the first step on that road, with further announcements on the initiative to follow.
This exciting new alliance will combine human capital and employee benefit brokerage and consultancy services from Willis with technology and communication services from market leader Benefex, including its award-winning RewardHub technology, which manages all aspects of employee benefits.
Tony Powis, CEO, Willis Employee Benefits, commented: “Benefex’s flexible benefits RewardHub technology enjoys a solid track record as the best in its field. In order to deliver our new, game-changing approach to human capital and benefits consultancy, we first need to lay the groundwork and that means partnering with the best providers in their respective fields.
“We are delivering something genuinely new and exciting to the market, and have more to come. Watch this space!”
In addition to helping to lay the foundation for future service innovations, the introduction of RewardHub to Willis’ offering will mean that all elements of an employee benefits scheme can be accessed from a live and interactive hub. This includes flexible benefits, voluntary benefits, total reward statements and pensions alongside communications, administration and employee support. This move will enable Willis to offer clients an end-to-end employee benefits solution, which can be accessed on-the-go, making it appealing to small and large employers worldwide.
Gethin Nadin from Benefex, added: “For Benefex, working with part of one of the world’s largest insurance broking groups is a significant partnership. Not only are Willis well known and respected as a human capital and benefits consultant and broker, they also have a great reputation for looking after their clients and doing what’s best for them.
“By combining our award-winning technology with Willis’ well respected and long-standing approach to broking and consultancy, we believe we have created a unique approach to helping employers with employee engagement and people risk issues. It’s an exciting new partnership that we expect to have a positive impact on our industry.”
