Steve Bellamy - Chairman

​Steve has overall responsibility for Board performance and works closely with our CEO, Matt Waller, to deliver our strategy. He is the interface with all investors and key partners in delivering our strategic plan, and is particularly focused on ensuring that we maintain our high level of customer service and delivering innovation to the market.

Steve has extensive experience assisting high-growth companies, predominantly in the IT sector, and is focused on helping Benefex to deliver our strategic objectives as we move to develop our service offering, build upon our impressive client base and extend our international presence.

Matt Waller - Chief Executive Officer

​As Benefex's founder and CEO, Matt has overall responsibility for the business strategy and its deployment. 

Having been in the employee benefits market for more than 10 years, Matt has played a key role in Benefex since its inception, with extensive experience delivering reward and benefits schemes across the UK, Europe and globally. 

His vision is for Benefex to be number one within its chosen markets ensuring that the business continues to deliver the right solutions for clients, on time, every time.

Matt is a frequent commentator on the benefits market and has written many white papers and articles. He is a regular speaker at industry events and seminars discussing trends and advancements in reward and benefits.

Peter Waller - Executive Director

​Peter works closely with our sales team and has a key role managing relationships with some of our largest clients.

Peter's career spans more than 25 years in sales and general management in the technology, telecoms, call centre and HR sectors. He has worked in senior management roles for large multi-nationals including IBM, ICL, Bell Atlantic and Groupe Bull, and latterly for several start-ups.

Giles Elliott - Chief Financial Officer

​Giles joined Benefex in 2011 and is responsible for optimising the overall financial performance of the business. Giles qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and has since worked in a number of blue chip businesses including Whitbread and Lloyds Bank.

Giles also has a broad and strong track record of working as Financial Director in several high-growth organisations, where he generated increased enterprise value and improved business performance. These organisations include Glass's Guide, HPI, Musto clothing and Plum Baby food.

Peter Garriock - Chief Technology Officer

​Peter is responsible for Benefex's delivery of software and systems infrastructure.

In his role as Chief Technology Officer, Peter uses his experience designing and building powerful systems to create new and sophisticated IT platforms, which are based on best-in-class technology. He is passionate about the benefits that effective technology can bring and enjoys the challenges presented by the diverse client projects at Benefex.

Peter has spent his entire career in IT, working for vendors such as IBM, Fujitsu ICL, Bull and Cap Gemini, plus more than 10 years as an IT Director with end-user organisations. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in what is required to make IT systems successful. Throughout his career Peter has gained industry-wide experience, covering airlines, finance, broadcasting, facilities management, retail and e-commerce.

Graham Lipscomb - Chief Operating Officer

​Graham is responsible for the operational running of the business and manages the consulting, systems and data, communication, administration and helpdesk business divisions.

Graham leads our strategic client delivery to ensure we continue to deliver the best service and the highest quality – something our clients have come to expect of Benefex. He is a qualified project manager and programmer.

Having joined Benefex in 2005, Graham's career includes positions in the HR industry where he assisted global brands deliver their reward and benefit strategies, HR outsourcing and payroll. His positions included Solutions Architect at Accenture HR Services and Business Analyst at RebusHR.
